How Does It Work? Schedule the "Boxing" After scheduling the service a "What to Expect When Getting Boxed" outline is sent to you along with the name of the SafeBox™ Specialist who will provide your service. (All SafeBox™ Specialist are professionally trained, insured and have had criminal background checks performed.) You may view a photo and bio of your SafeBox™ Specialist by going to the "About Us" section of our web site. The "Boxing" Your SafeBox™ Specialist will review the inventory process with you while touring your home and noting the history and background on specific items of value in each room. Once explained, the 5 step process begins... 1.) A 360 degree video of the exterior of your home is shot followed by a room by room interior video of contents. 2.) High quality digital photographs of all items of value are taken. These photos will provide an added measure of insurance since photographs provide a higher degree of definition and could help in better distinguishing certain possessions. 3.) An itemized, room by room accounting of your possessions of value. All serial and model numbers for your electronic equipment and appliances are included in this report. Those numbers play an important role in claiming your property should it ever be stolen. 4.) Via our innovative SafeDoc™ program, we can protect your important papers including birth and stock certificates, wills and trusts, insurance documents, tax returns, appraisals and papers of significance that could be difficult or impossible to replace if lost, destroyed or suffer degradation over time. These papers are electronically copied, instantly encrypted and burned to a high quality DVD. Copies of your important documents are safe and secure and only a toll free phone call away when you require copies. (For your protection, only you and the owners of SafeBox™ can initiate your document retrieval. Answers to your security clearance questions will be required to initiate the process.) 5.) Your total package including video, photographs, detailed inventory report and encrypted files are burned to a high quality DVD, placed in a postage paid, pre-addressed, "Safe Mailing Box" and handed to you. The SafeBox™ Specialist leaves your home with no record of your inventory report. ALL VIDEO, PHOTOS, REPORTS and ENCRYPTED FILES ARE DELETED. The "Post-Boxing" Your DVD's are received by SafeBox™in West Chester, PA. An email notifying you that we have received your package is sent. SafeBox™ will place two copies of your DVD records into our two separate, secure and fireproof facilities. SafeBox™ will assemble your personalized portfolio and forward it to you.
